Children with ADHD need to be more precisely diagnosed and medicated to control their future behaviors; however, societal changes such as technological advancements have directly influenced the behavior of children, influencing parents and teachers to force medication instead of using behavioral therapy. Children with ADHD need to be allowed to have options when it comes to their treatment and should be given the freedom to make decisions about their disorder on their own. The child should get to decide if he or she is given strong antipsychotics to control his or her behavior. All in all, children should decide their fate when dealing with their ADHD symptoms.
